How do we test for sensitivities and intolerances
The testing method we employ is by use of EA (Electro Acupuncture).
The patient simply holds an electrode while a tester uses a probe to locate the acunpunture points on the fingers or toes. This will then indicate a measure of your bodies’ energetic response to various foods and substances that are placed in the Vega machine, showing the degree of distortion recorded on the machine.
The items that are tested for are stored in small glass ampoules and are placed in a testing honeycomb which is connected to the machine.
The processes used are completely safe and all machines are electrically tested.
What happens in the test?
Before the test begins you will be given an initial consultation where questions will be asked about your general health, any sensitivities you have, if you take any medication and any symptoms that you may be experiencing.
You will be tested on 100 foods including:
- Beer
- Wine
- Tobacco
- Tea
- Coffee, etc.
along with many other general and household items such as:
- E Numbers (food colouring and additives)
- Pollens
- Dustmites
- Animal hair and fur
- Environmental items
- Candida overgrowth
We also test for vitamin and mineral deficiences routinely. Each test usually takes approximately one hour and your results will be recorded for you. You are also given dietary and nutrional advice.
